Our existing investment portfolio is divided into the areas of consumer und industrial goods.

In the area of consumer goods, we are particularly interested in acquisitions in the market for outdoor activities, in which we are active in the areas of air rifle, archery and bush crafting through Outdoor Sports Equipment Group, which currently has 150 employees.

In addition, we are interested in further acquisitions in the mechanical and plant engineering segment with a focus on the automotive industry. In this field we are active with Group Sterling with production sites in Germany, Italy and Brazil, and sales and service companies in the USA and China in the field of filling, testing and automation technology with around 300 employees.

UBH is an entrepreneur-led investment company with a focus on majority holdings in medium-sized companies.
Based on many years of experience both in the consulting business and in the management of our own investment portfolio, we are primarily involved in companies related to the German-speaking region (DACH region). In addition, we are also interested in the further development of our existing company portfolio in the context of international acquisitions.

The entrepreneurial team
Hans Christiansen and Dr. Ludwig Schmucker, worked in investment banking for a Hamburg private bank for fifteen years before founding UBH, where they held management functions in corporate finance. Their focus was on transaction-related advice (mergers & acquisitions) for medium-sized customers. Before that, both of them completed international business studies at the European Business School (ebs).
